Roadtrip in Malaysia
Saturday, April 18, 2009, 9:17 PM
A week's worth of roadtrip I know one thing for sure, going on a trip with parents mean you do not need to pay for anything (except when you shop for your own stuff). Setted off for KL on sunday night on air asia, loved that pilot cause everything was smooth and the air pressure wasn't killing. Stayed at tune hotel, apparently owned by air asia, kind of like a budget hotel. WAIT, it IS a budget hotel. You have to pay for the aircon and hairdryer! BUT, I loved the shower head:D:D Left for Genting in the morning at 7am. Who the hell wakes up at 5 something just to catch the 7am bus.? MY PARENTS. More bus rides for me, pretty lucky of me that we took the cable car from the mid of the mountain to genting. No more turning and turning, crazily dizzy rounds. Lodging was settled at first world's world club room. SUPER PRETTY and huge room. LOVED the shower there, a pity I only showered once in the pretty bathroom. Woke up pretty early to leave for Cameron Highlands, but not missing my dim sum for breakfast. yum yum.. (you're hungry right.?) Caught the cable car back down and more bus trips.. The bus ride up to Cameron was an ordeal that I thought I wouldn't be able to withstand for a 2nd time. The weather there is fantastic!! BUT, too many flies, we had to compete with them to see who eats our dinner faster! -.- Down back to Sunway, lucky it's a car this time, and the guy drove really fast. Spent most of my time sleeping anyway, can't take longggg rides, car or bus. Finally, started shopping and continued for the next 2 days before returning to Singapore. OHHH! Forgot to mention that I went to Sunway lagoon, realised how expensive that place costs (con) and saw this really really HOT angmoh! Saw each other at the entance and HE SMILED AT ME!?!? What a charming smile! :D:D Being back in Singapore lets me realise how good short distance travelling is. And I realised how much I LOVE home, though I always whine and complain how bored and unentertained I was. I was pretty much entertain by my VERY CUTE mother and VERY CUTE aunt, going 'Ee, you so cute...' and ' Mummy, you so cute..' Ohkay, for a fact my aunt says my mother, we think she's super cute. Where as mummy, she acts cute trying to say nonsense. OH! One incident was when she was trying to ask this air asia guy which side the sun was facing (on the bus) with her very broken malay. And the guy just went 'son..?' And he started speaking to us in chinese. LOL! In the end, mummy didn't get her answer. Mummy's broken malay seriously sounds damn hilarious. Getting back and feeling the heat and difference in air pressure, recovering from too-long bus trips, isn't going very well. Splitting headache is NOW my friend. Camwhoring in the WORLD CLUB ROOM:D ![]() Mummy = Rose. Awww. ![]() Towards Cameron Highland Mummy and I at 'BOH' tea factory. Kel and I at 'Tune Hotel'. Last night in LCCT:D (Back to top, Baby!) |
